Guidelines for submitting to the collection:

-Our collection is currently moderated an unrevealed. This means that when you upload your fic to the collection, we will approve it and then it will remain hidden until postings begin in March! If you need more information on collections, please read this AO3 FAQ about them!

-Please email the moderators your prompt number, AO3 username, fic title and which posting phase you selected. If you don't remember, the mods can look it up for you.

-You will upload your fic to the AO3 collection yourself, this means you need to have an AO3 account and logged in. If you wish to remain anonymous, that is fine, but please email us so we can work on the details.

-Place your prompt number in your summary.

-Set up your fic like usual with pairing/rating/fandom etc. Your summary may be whatever you like.

-Please the tag section to tag your genre, AU, kinks, tropes etc. This includes any trigger warnings (violence, dubcon, etc).

-All character deaths must be tagged in the tagging section, please!

-Please place your author note in the ‘notes at the beginning’ section. You should also place your prompt number here.

Adding to the round two collection:

-Under affiliations tab please cut and paste in "Dino_and_Tiger_round_2" then select this from the drop down menu. Make sure its the round 2 collection and not round 1!

-Paste your fic into the body section and review your formatting using the preview option. Please make sure your spacing is legible and no HTML codes are visible. Perform a final spell check on your fic before submitting! The mods will review fics and will request that fics with glaring spelling errors be corrected before the January and March posting dates. We may also ask you to add additional tags if a warning has been missed.

-Your fic will not show on your dashboard until it has been revealed. To make sure it's been properly added to the collection, you can click "works in collections" on your writer dash. It should show your fic as unrevealed. You may also make any necessary edits to your fic before posting from this tab.

-You're all done! If you have questions, please email or DM us!

• No more anonymous posting. Your fic will be credited to you upon its reveal in the dinoandtiger AO3 collection. That way you may be interact with commenters freely and enjoy the attention that your hard work deserves. We do still ask that you don't publicly reveal details about your fic prior to posting it, but it's fine to say you're writing for our fest on twitter/tumblr/etc.

• No more word minimums. If you want to write a series of drabbles, please do! We only ask that you continue to only claim one prompt at a time, and turn in a completed drabble before claiming the next one. Any fic that is drabble length (1,000 words or less) can have its prompt claimed a second time by another writer. We are doing this to promote creativity in our writers!

• Our original final submission date of January 15 remains as is. If your fic is completed by then, it will be posted sometime during our first phase postings which start on January 25.

• Second phase final submissions will be March 15, with posting beginning March 25.

• If you cannot make the January due date for some reason, all you have to do is notify us sometime before January 15 and you will be added to the list of writers who will submit in March.

• If you need to drop out before the March due date, but still plan to complete your fic sometime in the future, let us know when you post it! It'll be added to the dinoandtiger collection on AO3 and be promoted the same way through our twitter as any other posting.

• Finally, mod Playboy is personally volunteering to beta read, brainstorm and otherwise help any writer out there who needs an extra push with your outline, fic writing or overcoming writers block. • November 6 - Pinch hitting sign ups open and stay open until February 1, 2018!

• December 15 - Second check in.

• December 20 - Claiming closes, pinch hitters contacted. Pinch hitter fics due March 15. 

• January 15, 2018 - Final check and submissions due.

• January 25, 2018 - Phase 1 posting begins!
• Febuary 1 - Pinch hitter sign ups close, assignments given by February 8.
• Febuary 15 - Check in for phase two.

• March 15, 2018 - Phase 2 final check in and submissions due.
• March 25 - Phase 2 posting begins!

• All fics must feature Chen or Chanyeol as a main character.

• We strongly encourage prompts and fics that feature OT3s and more.

• We support and accept prompts with queer platonic relationships, asexual, aromantic, trans and nonbinary characters.

• We do not tolerate hate against past or current EXO members in prompts, fics or comments. Fics or prompts submitted with hate will not be posted. Comments will be deleted.

• Each writer must submit an email address and an alternate form of communication so we can send reminders for check-in and submission and receive your wonderful submissions!

• The only people who should know that you're writing for this fest are your betas and proofreaders! Please do not reveal yourself until after the mods have posted reveals.
• Feel free to reveal that you are writing for dinoandtiger on any social media you want! We only ask that you keep the details of your prompt and fic private until it is posted.

• We will do prompting via screened comments which will then be posted anonymously to a Google spreadsheet. From there you can submit your prompt request via comment with your top 3 prompts. You will receive a response via email within 48 hours. All prompting and claiming will remain anonymous.

• One prompt per writer will be allotted, unless you submit a finished fic early, then you may claim a second prompt.

• We are not accepting prompts or fics with noncon, incest, or sexual gore. Prompts with these will be deleted. If a fic is submitted with this content, you will be banned from future rounds and your fic will not be posted.

• All prompt trigger warnings must be labeled, including dubcon, gore, violence, character death, kinks, etc.

• If you submit a prompt, you don’t have to claim one, but it might be fun too!

• Plagiarism and paraphrasing are not allowed. You will be banned and blacklisted.

• Your fic should have 750 words at first check-in and be at least 1500 at final submission time.
• There is no longer any word minimum for dinoandtiger! Fics may be any length you wish. 

• Fics with grammar errors may be sent back with corrections or assigned a beta.

• All trigger warnings must be labeled, including dubcon, gore, violence, character death, etc!

•  We are allowing dubcon for round 2 but it must be TAGGED and the mods will review your fic during every check-in to ensure it does not cross into the noncon territory. If it does, you will be asked to rewrite that portion. 

• Beta and pinch hitting sign ups open with prompting in a separate post.

• Pinch hitters will be contacted on a rolling basis as prompts are dropped.

• There are no more reveals. Your completed fic will be posted with your AO3 (or other) account name revealed immediately. There is no more anonymous posting. We want you to enjoy and interact with your commenters as soon as it is posted!
